Guidelines for Using the Modules

Every module is organized in the same way. The blue area on the left of your screen will always contain a Menu. This menu provides a complete list of the contents of the module. This list gives you a good indication of where you are in the module. The right side of your screen or "page" contains information and links to Activities. Study the information as it is presented. Complete each Activity. Use the "Next" and "Previous" buttons to move from one page to the next.

Activities are designed to strengthen your learning. Activities are not “busy work.” Each question, idea, or writing has been included for a purpose. Thousands of students have previously learned to become more effective by using these materials. You can, and will, if you use them to your best advantage. Skipping material is cheating no one but yourself.

For each Activity make a paper copy of your responses. You will need many of these Activities for later use, and they will also be excellent review materials.

The best way to complete a module is to start at the beginning and work your way through each screen. Treat it like a book. Stop working when necessary and pick up where you left off when you return. By using the Logout button on the Menu screen, the program will automatically remember your location in the module so you can easily find it when you login for more study.

Getting started is easy. Click the link "Back" on your left bar. It will take you to the list of ten modules. Select the module you need from the menu and you will be taken there.
