Challenging And Realistic Goals

Remember, goals do not do you much good if they are not useful. To make a goal useful, it has to be challenging, but it also has to be realistic.

A goal needs to be challenging so we feel a sense of accomplishment when we reach it.

It has to be realistic so that we can accomplish it with some effort.

Goals that we can't reach can have a negative effect on our attitude, but goals that we can work toward and reach promote a positive attitude.
