This is a professional sample of the units of instruction on study strategies authored by Claire Ellen Weinstein who developed LASSI (Learning and Study Strategies Inventory). Each unit focuses on a scale of LASSI that is directly related to academic success in college.

You will find the instruction is thorough and complete. These units are not brief, inconsequential attempts to brush aside the problems students encounter. On the contrary, the student with a serious difficulty will find the units provide all the information and activities needed to overcome the problem. At the same time, students with less serious problems will find the program operates easily to locate specific material and provide the information needed.

The program runs without glitches, has an attractive, functional appearance, and has been tested extensively. It is our hope that you will share your reactions with us as we can continually improve the effectiveness of this site for any student needing assistance with their study strategies.
