Frame Buttons

Occasionally, you will find a frame that contains a "Movie" button. Clicking on the "Movie" button opens a screen on which a video example is given. When the video ends you must close the screen and that will return you to the frame containing the "Movie" button. A replica of the Movie button is shown to the right.

Other than the buttons, the scroll bar on the right of each screen allows you to move up or down upon the screen.

Click your cursor on the blue colored words "Mentor and Quit Buttons" and you will see how to use them.

Mentor and Quit Buttons

The Mentor and Quit buttons are located in the lower left of the screen.

The Quit button allows to you stop your study at any time. When stopping you need to note your position (Chapter, Unit, and Frame) so you can return to that position easily when you return to your studying.

Help is available whenever you need it and is obtained by clicking on the Mentor Button.

The mentor button brings up an e-mail screen for you to send a message for help, comment, etc. Use the mentor button whenever you want to extend your conversation outside the scope of the computer program. If you are stuck and want some help, then click on the mentor button. You do not need to explain the problem you are having. Just state your location in the program (chapter, unit, frame number). If you can describe your problem more fully that is fine, but it is not necessary. If your message is not directly related to a particular part of the conversation, just state it as clearly as possible. Whatever your message, you will receive a personal e-mail reply within 24 hours.

If you need to repeat any part of these directions, click on the needed item from the Menu and we will return to it.

Otherwise, select the "List of Chapters" on the Menu screen and begin a successful learning experience.
